Learn how to Create this Cathedral Window, turn it into a block, pillow, runner or quilt!
You decide what you would like to make.
A small table centre, a table runner or cushion cover.
And you also decide what size squares you want to use.
(My table runner is 3" squares, my table centre is 5" squares.)
Your article must be even number across and down (6X10, 14X20 etc)
For the table runner I used 30" of tone on tone and cut 9 strips of 3" and then cut 108 squares for background.
1 metre of plain white and cut 13 strips of 3" and then cut 172 squares for windows.
1 metre of print and cut 4 strips of 3" and cut into 43 squares for centres and use the rest for binding.
You will also need backing and batting.
When you sew down the windows you are sandwiching and quilting at the same time.
For a small table topper you can use 16 piece of a charm pack for background, 32 plain white 5" squares and more printed charms for your centres. Don't forget to have batting and backing to go with it.
